Supplementation….

HEMP OIL:

Excellent for skin and consists of the   highest concentration

       of gamma-linolenic  acid

CLA-Conjugated Lionoliec Acid:

Found in red meats and milk fat.  CLA is responsible for the maintenance of lean muscle tissue and helps the body burn more fat for fuel.

7-Keto DHEA-3:

Better known as Acetyl-7-Oxo-Dehdroepiandrosterone, is secreted by the adrenal glands (located above the kidneys) and is sourced primarily from the Mexican Yam and other plants.  It holds the patent number 5,296,481 with studies that confirm its ability to promote weight loss when combined with a sound nutrition and exercise plan.

Borage, Fish, and Flax Oils:

Essential Fatty Acids which aid in tissue repair, proper bodily functions including the brain, and helps to promote fat loss.

Whey Protein Powders:

Protein is great for people on the go or anyone who wants to maintain healthy, lean muscle tissue.

Multi-vitamins:

Being active or inactive, you may not get all the necessary vitamins throughout your day, so proper supplementation is key to achieving a healthy body.

Calcium:

Women need this most of all, but it is so readily absorbed and used that women actually use more than the recommended dosage a day.  If you lack milk or broccoli, GET A PILL!!!!

Food:

Food???  You may ask, “why food”?  Well, it’s simple.  Food is energy.  Without food, all of the other supplements are obsolete, because you need a balance of food to function at your highest level!!!!

Supplement well!

Are you stuck in the ’70s, and afraid of fat? Fat-free still registers in some people’s psyche as a healthy way to eat. It’s time for an attitude adjustment, because all fats are not bad. In fact,

some are essential to health, including vitamin and mineral absorption, hormone production and cell structure.New USDA Fat Recommendations

The U.S. government has changed the recommendations for the 2005 Dietary Guidelines. The old guidelines had fat way up top of the pyramid, in the narrowest part, next to sugar. Fat was to be kept to a minimum, which made consumers think that all fats are bad. However, some actually help lower cholesterol and prevent disease, leading the USDA to change the fat recommendation.

They’ve flipped the pyramid on its side, so that consumers understand that within the fat category, some fats should be included regularly, but others should only be eaten occasionally, if at all. The new pyramid reflects the ruling that takes effect on January 1, 2006. Soon consumers can read the number of grams per serving of trans-fat, which is linked to coronary heart disease.

    Good Fats/Bad Fats

Populations who eat their fat calories from nuts, seeds, olive and canola oil, avocado and fatty fish like salmon, sardine and mackerel remain healthier than those who eat a lot of fried foods, fatty meat and hydrogenated fats in packaged foods.

Fat tastes good, and makes food taste good. But, since fat has twice the calories of protein and carbohydrate, most people can’t eat it indiscriminately. Fat needs fine tuned, especially when you’re trying to lose weight on a balanced program.

    Nutrition 101

    ACE Manual Volume 2002

There is so much to learn about nutrition and energy expenditure that it can overwhelme your brain and make you want to give up before you try.  Let’s just make it a simple concept instead.

Let’s just say that this is your day from the time you wake up to the time you sleep….

    6:00–9:00–12:00–3:00–6:00–9:00

When you wake up your body has been fasting throughout the night.  That drop in insulin could be your weight loss advantage or DISADVANTAGE-Play your cards right.  This is the best time to tap into fat with a 20-30 minute cardio session, and/ or the most crucial time to eat a nutritious meal.  Let me show you why:

Let’s say you wake up but don’t eat until 12:00.  Your insulin would take a drop from 6:00to 9:00am storing fat for your starvation (“but I’m not starving”, you say)  YOUR BRAIN THINKS DIFFERENT.  Remember we as humans are designed for famine and times without food and water—-this leads to fatty deposits—-and ugly fat.  We are designed to move, so eat clean and keep your furnace above the line by eating every three hours.

    Proper PH

    IMPORTANCE OF PROPER PH

  • What is Ph?

The term PH stands for “potential” or ” hydrogen” and is a measure of the acidityl or alkalinity of a solution represented on a scale between 0-14.  Neutral sources are a 7 on the scale.

     What is the Normal PH?

    7.35-7.45.   This is called homeostasis.

How to add more alkaline food to your diet…

Avoid too much meat, alcohol, soft drinks caffeine, coffee, most nuts, eggs, vinegar, sourkraut, ascorbic acid, pasturized milk, cheese, white sugar, and medical drugs.

Add more ripe fruit, veges, soy beans, bean sprouts, water, raw milk, onions, figs, carrots, beets, miso, calcium citrate, and vitamin K.
