Content, yet a little aggravated with myself…

Posted in Uncategorized on March 7, 2008 by kellylynnfit

Well…today I feel kinda emotional…maybe it’s the serotonin release from the chocolate cake I just indulged in, or maybe it’s one of those days.

I’m kinda down on myself, a little angry at the way I’ve been scarfing on BAD FOODs….it was ok for a while, but I’m honestly going a little overboard on the desserts…it seems fun…or it did…

So as I put on size, I wonder if I like it.  I love muscle, but I don’t know if I like looking bigger.  It’s my complex, I KNOW.

Well, still, I feel good.  I am actually calm with mself.  I haven’t gotten angry or anything yet.  Trust me, when I can’t fit my clothes then I will be like…”WHAT HAPPENED???”  and then I’ll kick my own ass and say…YOU FREAKIN RETARD..you fat ass…you did it yourself…it’s all fun and games until you get FAT.

Getting ready for a show…or a few…

Posted in Uncategorized on March 4, 2008 by kellylynnfit

Sooo…after a long break (well needed), it’s time for me to put my Jedi Knight gear on and head full force into competition drive.  I tried out for the Gladiators and made it through part 2…we’ll see what comes of it soon.  Hope I’m not too short.

Fitness is calling my name this year, screw the figure crap for now…It’s all about back breaking back handsprings and funky strength holds and stuff…:)

There are a ton of FUN things in store for me this upcoming year…like all kinds of traveling.

I’ll be in Vegas in April and then June I will be at the Jr. Nationals in Chicago.

For now I gotta stop chowing on cheesecake and cookies…HA HA HA, but thanks to my dear friend LISA BALASH, I have taken up serious Kettlebell training.  It burns a GAZILLION calories.

Take care, stop by often, and let me know whats up wit u!!!

Love Always, Kel

Trip to LA!

Posted in Uncategorized on February 28, 2008 by kellylynnfit

Wow! I had a blast!  I have never been to LA before, but let me tell you, it was an experience.  First off…I spent the first portion of my stay in Santa Monica at the Travelodge by my favorite store, TRADER JOES.  The weather was beautiful too! Sunny and about 60 degrees…LOVELY;)  So then I worked with a very well known editor and graphic designer, Wayne (thanks to Nercy).  He was totally cool and I must say that I am truely privilaged to have worked with such a veteran in the movie industry.

Then I took names at the Gladiator tryout interview thing I did at the Fit Expo.  My friend and fellow former Marine, Theresa and I both tried out at the same time and killed it!  It was a blast and we both did well.

Then I visited Venice Beach, downtown LA, west Hollywood, the Promenade in Santa Monica, Hollywood walk of fame, and ATE WAYYYYY too MUCH UNHEALTHY FOOD! Oh well…some extra goodies never hurt anyone, right?  Ok,ok…excuses?  I think so.

So, I would definitly consider moving that way, even if Cali is going to fall into the earth and all…but why not go down with such a beautiful place?

I’ll keep you posted on my other endeavors…peace out!

Gladiator tryouts in Orlando were a blast.  I met so many phenominal athletes and I made some great
friends.  Good luck to all those who tried out. There were over 1000 hopefulls in Orlando, that doesn’t include Chicago, LA, NY, or Scottsdale, AZ!.  My friend
Stacy tried out in Scottsdale, AZ and was there at 8 am and didn’t try out until around 7 pm. They had over 1600 hopefulls. GEEZE…I also heard Chicago has over 6000 hopefulls.  Talk about a lot of work for NBC. The tryouts were fun and I’ll be doing it again in LA next weekend….Gotta keep trying…I have no idea how they plan to pick these people!
